RG Fulfills ISO 9001 Requirements

by | Dec 1, 2010

The second phase and final audition of the Reykjavik Geothermal (RG) Business Management System was completed 21 October 2010 by British Standards Institution (BSI). The company now fulfills all requirements of quality management systems according to ISO 9001:2008. Utilization of international quality standards is the key method for ensuring reliable procedures and processes; therefore, RG found it necessary and important to implement and employ this “best practice” in the management of the company.

This system will ensure reliability and validity of RG’s project management and products, which include consulting, project creation, development, construction, and operation. RG guarantees safe delivery, stable management, and a continuous increase in quality of all projects and products. All employees, including contractors, work according to defined procedures designed to deliver company objectives regardless of any rapid growth (either external or internal), new laws, standards and regulations, or changes made that may affect the company.

International economic project realization is guaranteed with our commitment to our values, emphasizing passion, responsibility, integrity, and quality, as well as our contribution to sustainable development, including HSE (health and safety) and environmental protection. It is our firm belief that this milestone will enhance our already strong image and brand name. Reykjavik Geothermal is and will continue to be a leader in its field.
